Quality water, available where you need it

Our model brings water closer to users, wherever they need it. To achieve this, we combine different technologies for microfiltration, dispensing and cooling to create installations tailored to each project's needs.

Our solutions include Casas del Agua, sustainable indoor and outdoor water fountains, dispenser panels and a range of filtration systems. Installations can be connected to the mains water supply and then treat and dispense the water using microfiltration.

This helps create alternatives to traditional consumption based on bottles and single-use containers. The result is a solution designed to bring products closer to the point of consumption, reducing transport needs and supporting a more efficient consumption model.

Ecozona Iberian contributes to the goals of the 2030 Agenda

Every location has different needs. That’s why at Ecozona Iberian we deliver tailor-made projects, assessing the characteristics of the setting, number of users, type of consumption and how the equipment will fit into the space.

Our solutions can be installed in squares, public gardens, waterfront promenades, bike paths, stadiums, sports centers, gyms, hospitals, offices, schools, hotels, restaurants and other shared spaces. We also develop systems for festivals and large events, where it is especially important to provide numerous supply points and serve large numbers of users.

In addition to functionality, we pay close attention to how each installation integrates with the architecture, furnishings and features of its surroundings.

Less plastic, more sustainability

Every project starts with one fundamental idea: consuming water shouldn’t mean constantly generating new waste.

That’s why we develop systems that encourage the reuse of containers and provide water directly where it is consumed. This approach works for both permanent installations and solutions designed for events and spaces with specific needs.

Ecozona Iberian helps public authorities, businesses, organisations and individuals adopt more responsible consumption habits through practical solutions tailored to their needs.

If you are looking to implement a microfiltered water and sustainable dispensing system in Spain, Italy or other European countries, we will assess your project's requirements and propose a tailored solution.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Where does the water in the Water Houses come from?

Water Houses connect directly to the public water supply, providing water right where it is consumed. If the project calls for a different solution, alternative water sourcing and treatment systems can be explored based on the site’s conditions.

  • What’s the difference between tap water and microfiltered water?

Ecozona Iberian’s system uses microfiltration and water treatment. The installation includes several stages designed to reduce impurities and chlorine, and uses 0.2-micron ultrafiltration, activated carbon and sanitisation systems. The aim is to provide water with a pleasant taste and smell while preserving its organoleptic properties.

  • Can it dispense sparkling water?

Yes. Our systems can provide still and sparkling water. Water for carbonation is chilled first, then carbon dioxide is added by the relevant system.

  • What temperature is the water dispensed at?

Depending on the chosen configuration, the system can dispense water at room temperature or chilled. Ecozona Iberian’s cooling units can chill water to approximately 4 °C.

  • How long does a filter last?

Lifespan depends on the type of installation and the volume of water consumed. As a guide, in domestic installations it may be around one year. In urban installations, events and other projects with high consumption, replacement is determined by usage and the maintenance schedule.

  • How long can water be kept after dispensing?

As with bottled water once opened, it should be stored properly. If kept at room temperature without refrigeration, Ecozona Iberian recommends consuming it within approximately two or three days.

  • What does an installation need to operate at a festival or major event?

A Casa del Agua for a festival will generally need a water connection, electricity and drainage. Before each project, we assess the venue’s characteristics to size the solution and position the water points appropriately.

  • Can Las Casas del Agua be used for events with thousands of attendees?

Yes. Ecozona Iberian develops solutions specifically for festivals and major events. Water Houses for these settings can be assembled and dismantled, and complemented by fountains to extend water access points across different areas of the venue.

  • Can water be dispensed for free or for a fee?

Yes. The system can be configured to suit each project's needs. Dispensing can be free or include different payment methods, including coins, cards or cashless systems.

  • Can you select different quantities of water?

Yes. Dispensing panels can be configured to serve different amounts of water. For example, some systems let you select 0.5, 1 or 1.5 liters, making it easy to fill different types of containers.

  • Is the water tested?

Yes. Ecozona Iberian provides water quality checks and testing tailored to each type of installation. Festivals can have specific water tests, while permanent installations receive regular checks as part of their maintenance and self-monitoring programme.

  • What are the filters made of?

The systems use different filtration technologies depending on the needs of the installation. These include activated carbon, antibacterial systems and 0.2-micron ultrafiltration. In some applications, ion-exchange resins can also be added to help control limescale buildup.

  • How is the dispensing system sanitised?

The equipment incorporates various technologies to maintain hygienic conditions throughout the system. Depending on the configuration, this may include UV treatment, ozone sterilisation of the nozzles and automatic sanitisation cycles.

  • What is an automatic dispensing panel?

This is the point where users collect water. It can be part of a Casa del Agua or integrated into other structures. Panels can include a screen, quantity selection, different types of water and payment systems, among other options.

  • How many types of water can a panel dispense?

Depending on the project configuration, the system can provide different types of water, such as still, chilled or sparkling, as well as options tailored to the requirements of each installation.

  • Can installations be customised?

Yes. One of Ecozona Iberian's key features is the development of bespoke projects. We assess the space, architecture, expected user numbers and consumption needs to integrate the solution into each setting.

  • Where can Ecozona Iberian solutions be installed?

We design systems for cities, squares, parks, waterfront promenades, stadiums, sports facilities, festivals, hotels, restaurants, schools, hospitals, offices and other public or private spaces. We offer solutions for both indoor and outdoor use.

  • How do these systems help reduce plastic use?

With microfiltered water available directly at the point of use, users can refill bottles and reusable containers instead of relying on single-use bottles. In addition, the local consumption model helps reduce the need to transport and store bottled water.

  • Does Ecozona Iberian develop projects outside Spain?

Yes. Ecozona Iberian is an Italian-Spanish company, with its registered office in Valencia and production facility in Udine, Italy. We develop solutions for a range of European markets and settings.

  • Can I request a solution tailored to my project?

Yes. Every space has different needs. We can assess your company, municipality, sports facility, business or event to develop a microfiltration and dispensing system tailored to your project.
